We moved in this new place in july... I have move a lot during the past years, and we always found, with my familly, nice places... this place we call "home" are so important as we spend our days in them... We work here, we live here, we create here... some people left home in the morning and came back after some hours, I did that for years... for us, we spend 90% of our weeks in this place... to be in harmonie, everything is important, from the furnitures to the spoon... I admire people who do not really care of that kind of thing, life must be simplier as our, because it is hard to have everything in harmonie all the time...

Anyway, this show you the new spirit of the forthcoming www.harmonie-interieure.com web site... We won't sell only stickers and posters we design, but also objects we found, old things, and some stuff done by people we admire... wood spoons, ceramics... childs decoration... We are impatient to show this, but it is a lot of hard work, mixed with clients projects I work on...

So it is now official, in a month from now I will be in Brisbane, Australia to present you my idea of optimism in graphic design... So, if you are around (and not need to do 26 hours of plane as I do to go there), please come and say hello...

I was pleased to answer 5 questions for Living design very nice blog...

I am always happy when people write to tell how my work inspire them, it is always very flattering... I am myself mainly inspired by what I see, the reason why I do this blog... You know this emotion when you see something and it's giving you creative inspiration...

Anyway, I think this guy doesn't see the difference between Inspiration and Copy... You may know the illustration I did for Backyard wine.

I, not unlike Brandever who ordered this illustration, really considier this as coping... Espcially when the designer present it like this : "They sent a current package plan which I responded that with my ideas". And also because it is for an bottle package... it may have been different for another support, I don't know...

A detail really make me think it is copy, the bird... I have put his S and my B to compare :

Letterpress is magic ;) I get my set of coasters print by Marek at letteramagica.pl. The N° is in 2 colors, red and warm grey, while the 2 others are in one color only...

I always do photos as a complement of my graphic design work. Most of the time for local clients, when they have no images to illustrate their brand...

A recent report I do in a steel factory (project bring to me by mediafix for one of their client) make me think I have no tool to present my photo works... So, Cargo is so easy to use that I create a web site to present these images done over the years... will update it soon with more "behind the scene" story and also how I use them or other designer use them in their works...
