Un air de voyage is the online shop of a friend of me (you may think I have a lot of friends, but I have been lucky, over the year, to work and met for a lot of nice people...). This guy is passionate by travels and other cultures, so he found a way to live from his passion. Every year, he visits India, Nepal, Africa or South America and try to found some nice decorative objects, fabric or furnitures to sell in his 2 shops... Over the years, he does a lot of nice meeting as you can imagine, and always deeply respect the people he works with. Even use a part of his benefit to rebuilt a school in Nepal... I have a deeply respect for him... Of course, I do his communication tools for the past years, and I design a travelling guide you can see on my flickr. You can found amazing stuff in his online shop, and I want to show them by the amazing textures of these unique items... |

On of the last thing he found are these amazing furniture made with recycled metal by an African designer, in Burkino Faso to be precise... This are not deocrative, this is art ;) |

As I already told you, I saw Sting & Ben Harper live this week end. Both concerts took place in the amazing Nîmes arena, that Trey Ratcliff shot when he first visited me in september last year... It let you imagine how amazing it is to see a concert in this place...

It was also nice to have a beer with Eric Canto, another friend/client/photographer. He was able to shoot both concerts, even if for Sting he was not allowed to shoot at close range (it was a concert with a classical orchestra so they only wanted wide angle pictures...). |

I had a wonderfull week end, seeing Ben Harper and Sting live (not on the same day) ;) Will show you more when a friend of me send pictures... Also, it was an wonderfull day with Trey Ratcliff, will came back on this soon too (you can see a nice picture he took in Paris last Tusday just before we found a nice restuarant). Here come your inspiration dose : Analogue works...

So, on july 31th, I will took a plane a plane to USA ;) It would be my first time there and I am pretty exited... I was kindly invited by Kristin Kim, founder of Sansori, to speak about my vision of Social entreprise in Amherst College (Amherst, Massachusetts, USA). I am impatient to spend a nice moment sharing ideas... We will spend some days in Amherst, and on august 05th we will fly to the other side of the country, in California, to visit Jordan Mauriello of www.moreyellow.com. I work with Jordan for almost 5 years and we only see each other via our computers... Would be nice to share some beers... So, will spend some days in San Juan Capistrano, near LA. On August 11th, we will fly back to Boston and spend some days there before coming back to Paris, and then take the train to Nîmes... Pretty long trip... Need some designers tips... and Gluten free tips...
